Marianna, FL – November 24, 2025 – The Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida (ELCNWF) is proud to announce a partnership with Save the Children to distribute much-needed diapers and wipes to families across Northwest Florida. Through this collaboration, the ELCNWF and local partner organizations will help ease the burden for parents and caregivers facing financial hardship by providing essential items for young children.

With the support of Save the Children, ELCNWF will distribute 51 cases of diapers and 4 cases of wipes across seven counties in Northwest Florida through the following community partners:

“Families across our region continue to feel the effects of economic challenges, and access to basic supplies like diapers and wipes can make a big difference,” said Suzan Gage, Executive Director. “We are grateful for Save the Children’s partnership and for the local organizations helping us ensure these items reach the families who need them most.”

“Save the Children is proud to partner with the Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida and community partners to support area children and caregivers during this time of economic hardship for many families,” said James Orlando, Save the Children’s Managing Director of Humanitarian Response in the U.S. “For young families across northwest Florida working hard to make ends meet, receiving free essentials like diapers and wipes can be a lifeline – enabling them to stretch their budgets and meet other needs that help their children and households thrive.”

“United Way of Northwest Florida is grateful to partner with the Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida and Save the Children to ensure families across our six-county region have access to something as basic and essential as diapers and wipes,” said Gina Littleton, Executive Director of United Way of Northwest Florida. “These kinds of partnerships help ease the strain on family budgets and give young children the support they need during such a critical stage of their development.”

Each community partner will coordinate its own local distribution plan to best meet the needs of the families it serves.
